The History
Häcker’s story began in 1898, when Hermann Häcker founded a small joinery in Rödinghausen. His dedication to exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail became the cornerstone of the company and has been passed down through generations.
In 1938, Friedrich Häcker assumed management of the business, leading it until 1965, when the joinery was taken over by his son-in-law, Horst Finkemeier. Together with his wife Renate, Horst set the course for Häcker’s present-day success by introducing the series production of kitchen furniture.
A new chapter began in 1996 when their son, Jochen Finkemeier, joined the management team. Since then, Häcker has continued to evolve through constant innovation — from launching the systemat and concept130 product ranges to building factories 3, 4 and 5, and introducing BLAUPUNKT as its exclusive in-house brand for built-in kitchen appliances.
Today, Häcker remains a proud, owner-managed family business, combining tradition, expertise and passion to bring kitchen dreams to life for people around the world.
